Jim Lindsey

Managing Partner

Jim Lindsey is a Managing Partner of BVO Capital. He is responsible for sourcing new investments and takes an active role in property operations.

Prior experience includes TA Associates Realty, JRK Property Holdings and CB Richard Ellis. He received a B.S. in accounting from the University of Southern California and an MBA with a concentration in real estate from the University of Wisconsin.

Kevin Woodley

Managing Partner

Kevin is a Managing Partner of BVO Capital. He is responsible for sourcing new investment and development projects throughout the Southeastern United States. Prior to BVO, Kevin spent 15 years with Duball, LLC specializing in acquisitions, asset management and development of over $600 million in assets. Kevin has experience with a wide variety of product types including: office, residential, mixed-use commercial projects, hotel, retail, and high-rise projects. He earned a BS in Finance from Santa Clara University and a MBA from Georgetown University.

Billy Edwards

Chief Financial Officer

Billy is responsible for overseeing the company's treasury function and financial systems. Prior to joining BVO Capital, he was the Chief Financial Officer for the Ross Companies, a Mid-Atlantic multifamily owner and manager. Prior to the Ross Companies, he worked at CohnReznick LLP where he provided audit and tax services for commercial real estate clients and closely held businesses. He received a B.S. in Accounting from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and a Master of Accounting from West Virginia University.

Nick Sparaco

Director of Construction

Nick is responsible for managing the overall program for each project, from inception through project completion, and associated budgets. Prior experience includes owner/builder companies such as The Bozzuto Group, Suffolk Construction, and JLB Partners where he was involved in functions from preconstruction to project management. He graduated from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University with a Bachelor of Science.

Natalie Edeburn

VP of Property Management

Natalie is responsible for overseeing operations for BVO's active adult vertical. In addition, she takes an active role in developing company processes and procedures. Prior experience included roles as Regional Vice President at both RKW Residential and Pegasus Residential. She spent several years with Greystar Real Estate in Charlotte where she was a Director of Real Estate. She holds her CAPS designation along with her North Carolina Brokers License. She has served on the Board of Directors with the Greater Charlotte Apartment Association along with several committees.

Taylor Hall

Acquisitions Director

Taylor joined BVO Capital in March 2023 and is responsible for sourcing development and investment opportunities across the Southeast. Prior to joining BVO Capital, Taylor held positions with Brookfield Asset Management / Conrex where he oversaw acquisitions of the firm's Build-to-Rent investments and Ram Realty Advisors where he sourced and executed residential and mixed-use development projects. Taylor holds B.A of Political Science and Master of Real Estate Development degrees from Clemson University.

Casey Snyder

Construction Associate

Casey is responsible for assisting with the development and construction management of BVO Capital's projects throughout the Southeast. Casey previously worked for Clark Construction in both project development and on-site project delivery. Her previous experience includes high-rise residential, healthcare, government, education, office, and distribution projects. She holds a BS in Civil Engineering from Lehigh University.

Garrett Smith

Associate

Garrett is responsible for the analysis of acquisition and development opportunities. Prior experience includes debt and equity brokerage roles at Northmarq and LGA Capital. Garrett received a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in finance from the University of Richmond.

Shalonda Henderson

Accounting Manager

Shalonda is responsible for managing the daily operations of the accounting department. Her prior experience includes being the Accounting Manager for Ross Companies, a Mid-Atlantic multifamily owner and manager. She received a B.B.A in Accounting from Temple University.

Avocet Tower

Avocet Tower was a land assemblage and rezoning investment located in downtown Bethesda, Maryland. In September 2014 a venture was formed to build a new police station for Montgomery County on a nearby site in exchange for the station's prior location at 7359 Wisconsin Avenue. The resulting vertical development included 350,000 square feet of office and 125,000 square feet of hotel.

Queenstown Senior Living

Queenstown Landing is a senior living development located in Queenstown, Maryland on Maryland's Eastern Shore. The project includes 90 units of assisted living and memory care facility.

Walker Road Senior Living

Walker Road Senior Living is a 62 unit combined Assisted Living and Memory Care facility located in Great Falls Virginia. The project broke ground in 2019 and was completed in 2021.

The Jamison

The Jamison is a 236-unit apartment project located in the Fort Lincoln master planned community in Washington, DC. The project broke ground in 2017 and was completed in 2019.

Flats Bethesda/Darcy Condos

Flats Bethesda/Darcy Condos is a mixed use real estate project in downtown Bethesda, Maryland. Adjacent to Bethesda Row, the project consists of an 88-unit residential condominium, a 162-unit apartment building, approximately 39,000 SF of retail space and a four story, below-grade parking garage with 960 public and 300 private spaces. Construction was completed in 2016.

The Kingsley

The Kingsley is a mixed-use development in Old Town Alexandria consisting of a 58,000 square foot Harris Teeter grocery store, 175 rental apartments and three levels of below-grade parking. Construction commenced in mid-2012 and the project was completed in 2015.

The Swift

Petworth Safeway is a mixed-use project at the Metro stop on Georgia Avenue in the DC neighborhood of Petworth. The project consists of a 62,000 square foot Safeway grocery store, 219 rental apartments and 2 levels of below grade parking. The project was completed in 2014.

Foxhall Ridge Townhomes

Foxhall Ridge Townhomes is a 34-unit luxury townhome development on MacArthur Boulevard in the Palisades neighborhood of Washington, DC. The project sold out in 2014.

Market Square Frederick

Market Square Frederick is a 49 acre mixed-use land development project located in Frederick, Maryland. The project includes 240,000 SF of retail space, 207 residential lots and 196 multifamily units. The project commenced in 2011; the shopping center was completed in 2013 and home sales were completed in 2014.

Avery Row

Avery Row is a 67-unit residential project located near the Courthouse submarket of Arlington, VA. Construction began in 2011 and was completed in 2013.

Brittany Commons

Brittany Commons is a 576-unit garden apartment community in Fredericksburg, Virginia on the I-95 corridor, 45 miles south of the Capital Beltway.

Discovery Tech Center

Discovery Tech Center is a 150,000 square foot building in Silver Spring, Maryland that is solely leased by Discovery Communications, Inc. The building is two blocks from the Silver Spring Transportation Center with Metrorail, bus and commuter rail.
